How can I correct information about a bottle?

Whiskybase is a community-built platform, and all information in the database is maintained by its members. Because entries are created and updated by the community, we cannot guarantee that every detail is correct at all times.

The Whiskybase team does not edit or change bottle information. If you find an error, we encourage you to update it yourself. Any logged-in member can update release information at any moment.

To correct bottle information

1. Go to the whisky page you want to update

2. Select "Add or update info" on the left side of the page 

3. The submission form will open with the current details  

4. Make the necessary changes

5. Add a short note explaining what you corrected

6. Click on "Save" to submit the update for review

Once the submission has been sent, an administrator will approve or deny the submission.
