Why are some search options missing?

You may notice that certain search options are not yet available on the new search pages. Features such as cask number search and sorting tools are currently missing. The search system is being improved, and more functionalities will be added in the coming year.

These updates are part of an ongoing effort to make searching on Whiskybase faster, more accurate, and easier to use.

Using the older search engine

If you want to use the older search engine while the updates are in progress, you can find it here.

You should use the old search if you need to search using:

• Bottle codes (for example L4273CM000)
• Distillation or bottling dates (for example 11.12.1998 or 12.1998)
• Specific cask numbers
• Advanced sorting tools

Note: Once all features are added to the new search, the old engine will stop working and will be fully replaced.
