System messages are automatic notifications you receive about some of your activities on Whiskybase.
They include status updates (e.g. approval or rejection messages) related to:
- Bottles you’ve submitted
- Photos you've uploaded
- Bottle, brand, or distillery edits you’ve suggested
- Shoplink errors or broken links you've submitted or reported as incorrect
- Updates on bids you've placed on the Marketplace
- Updates about bottles on your Wishlist that are added to the Marketplace
- Price Alerts—to alert Whiskybase Plus members about new retail listings that match their alert settings.
System messages are automatically deleted after 90 days to increase the speed of Whiskybase for everyone. If you'd like to keep a copy of a system message, you can screenshot it within 90 days of receipt.
